LONDON, July 11 (Reuters) - Shanta Gold Ltd <SHG.L>, a junior mining company with interests in Tanzania, listed on London's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on Monday. Shanta has projects in northern and central Tanzania, the largest of which is the Mgusu deposit with a total resource of 741,000 ounces (127,000 indicated, 614,000 inferred). The shares opened at 27-1/2 pence and were quoted by 1000 GMT at 26-1/2 pence.
